Ben is a bowel cancer patient with a seriously positive attitude! Technically he has terminal cancer (his cancer can't be cured) but his current treatment is working and is surprised at how much he can do. Especially as he is in the process of running 6 marathons in 6 months, with 1 down and 5 to go, in order to show his 3 daughters that his positive spirit has endured and that illness won't get in the way of living his life. Through Ben's Bowel Movements, as he's aptly called his running challenge, he is promoting Beating Bowel Cancer's campaign Lift The Lid which is about raising awareness of the symptoms of the second biggest cancer killer.
